I had a very, well, umm... ugly pair of j.crew pants, and just had to turn them into something cute!
Sooooooo.... I made this ruffle pillow!
Now, here is how you can make one!
Get a pair of pants that you no longer need... (you could even use jeans or khakis)
Then, cut the legs off...
It should look like this...
Then cut up the side of the legs and cut them into rectangles...
Like this...
Then cut a patterned piece of fabric for your ruffles...
Cut it into strips...
Then gather each strip and pin it on...
Sew the ruffles on...
Turn the right sides together and sew around the edges, but leave a part open so you can stuff it! :)
Turn it the right way, and...
Start stuffing!!! Then just sew up the opening by hand, and you are done!
I made it for my sister, to complete her funky pillow collection! :)
